MEMBERSHIP: COMMUNITY SUPPORT IS VITAL
By Nancy Hurwitz
Over the past year the Society has been very active in developing and presenting a number of exhibits depicting the history of New Castle; holding our Annual Chappaqua Antiques Show; hosting the "Castles of New Castle" house tour; arranging trips to historical sites and conducting educational programs for children and adults. All of these activities, as well as the upkeep of the Horace Greeley House, are made possible by the partnership of our members.
For 2007, equally interesting events are planned by the Society. We hope you will join us in
2007 with a new or renewal membership and participate in these activities with us. Benefits of membership
include a quarterly newsletter, announcements of events to members before the general public, discounts on field trips and the knowledge that you are helping to preserve the history and heritage of our community. Dues received after December
1 will be considered membership for 2007.
The monies collected from our membership dues are use for maintaining The Horace Greeley House and garden, funding educational programs and exhibits, and helping to preserve our archives and resources.
The New Castle Historical Society membership Benefits:
1. Notification and discount on events and trips
2. Invitations to exhibit openings and receptions
3. Quarterly Newsletter
4. One year membership from January 1 - December 31
